Michelle McRae, Team Lead, Wellness Unit, Ontario Provincial Police
Michelle is the Coordinator of Wellness Programs with the Ontario Provincial Police’s Wellness Unit. Michelle previously supported the OPP’s Operational Stress Injuries Working Group as an Advisor and Team Lead and continues in her capacity as Coordinator to support the implementation of programs/services which focus on overall wellness for members, retirees and their families. Michelle has also worked as the OPP’s Workplace Discrimination and Harassment Prevention (WDHP) Coordinator, responsible for strategic oversight for the OPP’s WDHP program. Michelle has worked with the OPP since 2011 and has been a member of the broader Ontario Public Service in various Human Resources roles since 2006. Michelle is a graduate of McMaster University and holds a Certificate in Workplace Mental Health Leadership from the Morneau Shepell/Queen’s University collaboration, as well as an Executive Certificate in Conflict Management from the Stitt-field Handy collaboration with the University of Windsor Faculty of Law.
